By accessing or using Fnd8n, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
2. What the Service Does
Fnd8n is an idea validation research tool designed to help founders analyze market opportunities using data from community discussions on platforms like Hacker News, IndieHackers, ProductHunt, and Reddit.
3. Free Trial
We offer a free trial which includes one of each primary action (search, validation, analysis). This trial is provided once-off per user/IP and never resets.
4. Paid Plans
We offer Indie and Founder plans. Payments are billed monthly or yearly in South African Rand (ZAR) via Paystack. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to scrape Fnd8n, engage in automated abuse of the platform, or resell the research data provided through the service.
6. Intellectual Property
Fnd8n owns the platform and its underlying technology. Users maintain ownership of their specifically saved research results.
7. Third Party Data
Research results are compiled from public community posts on Hacker News, IndieHackers, ProductHunt, and Reddit. Fnd8n does not own this third-party content.
8. Research Library
fnd8n maintains an internal research library of community discussions collected during platform use. This library is purely used to supplement live search results and to maintain service continuity when third-party platforms are temporarily unavailable and no other reason. Content in the research library originates from public posts on Hacker News, IndieHackers, ProductHunt, and Reddit. fnd8n does not claim ownership of this content.
9. Disclaimer
Validation scores and insights provided by Fnd8n are market signals, not financial or business guarantees. They should be used as a starting point for your own research.
10. Limitation of Liability
Fnd8n and its founder are not liable for any business decisions or financial outcomes resulting from the use of the platform.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the platform or violate these terms.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified to users via email.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
